The Tiernan Irish Dancers

Our dancers range from three to eighteen years of age.
 

Tiernan is the sister school of the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance of Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison.

In 2003, Mark Howard, Trinity founder and artistic director, fell in love with Montana and the passion to learn Irish dance. Trinity brought consistency, professionalism, and expertise of Irish dance to Montana. By 2004, the name Tiernan, meaning three in one, was chosen for the new dance organization of Butte and Helena.

 

Trinity has won multiple world championships for the United States and is

considered to be one of the most widely recognized Irish dance programs in the world.
